I honestly have no idea what to expect. I think our D will be plenty good to keep us in every game we're in, but that old saying keeps going around in my head: "if you have two quarterbacks, you don't have any". I'm worried our offense will sputter at times and lead to a few road losses.

My pessimistic guess is 8-3, with a not-so-deep run into the playoffs. Call it 9-4.

Of course, HCMH has never disappointed, and always has us ready to play. I really have no idea what to expect to be honest. But I'll be there rootin'.

14-1: NC State is the lone loss
They have some holes to fill, but their offense is legit and their defense will rebound from graduations. They could legitimately end up a top 10-20 team this year if they don't have injuries. I think a 14-point loss is probably likely with even TOs. We'd have to catch some solid breaks to win. They're potentially the best team we've played in awhile. To say they're 'probably' the best team we'll play this year seems silly to me. If we win against St and stay injury free, we'd have to make some bad mistakes to lose another game this season.

Our season comes down to our O-line. The defense will fill its holes just fine. We have Stapleton, so I'm not worried about WRs. We could line up star RBs in every skill position on offense if we wanted to. I think at least one of our QBs will step up and be solid this season. It all comes down to whether the RBs can get to the LOS before contact and the QB has time to make his reads. If the O-line gets toasted on Saturday, then my prediction will probably be off. However, until Houston loses his first CAA game, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the conference schedule.

K , I’ll go with the 14-1. Not seeing a W opening day, to many moving parts to get settled into place. From there, we’ll have some close ones but rally for Ws.

We beat NCSU, but due to a much improved CAA, we drop to UNH on the road. Win the NC, avenging our lone loss on the way.

This sums up my prediction. We don't play Delaware (in the regular season at least) who would be my biggest worry this season. Someone else brought up UNH in adverse weather conditions, which I could see, but I'm still leaning towards a W.
