You have to love how Navy takes those players and turns them into a a single organism called a football team. Watching Navy is just like watching living machine.

The Tulane ranking is impressive in my opinion . Especially when you look at the average ranking of their recruits . It's not just numbers there .

When Tulane got their new coach and appeared to finally put some resources into their program, I predicted that they would become a force in the AAC for the same reason that UCF, USF and UH are. Geography to great talent even after the big dogs get the 4-5 * players. I have them as my surprise pick to win at least 8 games for this season.

Uconn's class might be dead last, but they look good from a size perspective and you can't teach size.

That must be how people who oppose our military feel. #Merica

RE: Final 247 composite AAC team recruiting ranking for 2018
Tulane got some players this year!
Unfortunately we lost a very impressive 3star on Monday with Damien Tate opting for Grambling State after signing a LOI. I'm guessing grades.
The key guy to look for is BIG BOY Jeffrey Johnson. Already pencilled in to start on at DT this week. He came in during the spring. He was a unanimous 4 star with offers to Bama, Florida, FSU, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, etc. Doctors told him he had a high enzyme count during his senior year. He had to stop working out so much, gained a bunch of weight. Couple months go by and it turns out the test was a false positive. In the meantime Willie Fritz got him to commit.
Outside of all the beasts WF got for the trenches, I'm really happy about Ryan Wright. Ranked #4 punter in America. We've had really poor kicking since we lost Santos to the NFL. And Wright is a 6'3 QB, so I'm excited to see what kind of trick plays the staff can come up with!
Lastly, this class had an average ranking of .8265, a full .05 higher than 2017! There was a serious concern about WF recruiting ability after his first couple classes. 2018 has 3 out of 4 of our all-time best commits according during the 247 era.
Uptown's future is so bright gotta wear shades!

A lot of UConns freshman are in the 2 deep too. Signs that the class was better than the rankings indicate.

Or signs that previous classes were even worse than the rankings indicated. Could also be due to graduation.

for uconn its definitely a sign previous recruiting classes weren't strong but I also think their 2018 class is better than dead last in the conference.
