Lol, go ahead Louisiana dude jump right in that I-4 feud, I’ll watch from Texas

Article: ECU expecting crowd of 35,000

Quote:East Carolina is expecting an announced crowd of about 35,000 for Saturday night’s season-opening football game at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, which would put the Pirates in position to have an attendance below 40,000 for a home-opener for the first time since 2006 when ECU beat Memphis in front of a crowd of 37,431.

Final chance for Scottie to prove himself. A strong ECU would make an already strong AAC even stronger.

ECU estimates are around 35K. If we win, the UNC game should increase dramatically.

Last Temple/Nova game was a little over 35K. The largest 1 year increase in the recent series was 4,4xx. If we can get 39K+, I'd be ecstatic.

Bleacher Report says we lose 30-23. I suppose we should just throw in the towel now.

Nah. ECU 28 A&T 7. Hopefully this is conservative. But after the last 2 seasons, nothing is taken for granted.

First game of the season against a ranked defending national champion and they can't break 20K?

They can’t sell out against Alabama?
UCF got a 1/5 share and miniature trophy but by god it should count.

Kinda like the 1/3 share of a mini trophy that Memphis received in 2014 following your only (shared) conference title in your history.

You are misremembering. It was UC and UCF that got the 3/4 sized trophy. Memphis got the real one because they won the title first.

33,000 announced. USF vs. Elon. Season ticket sales are up quite a bit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembered. The details are important.

Not bad given the state of UConn, looks good on TV at least.

Tulane this is your p5 opportunity and no one is there. I thought since yulman only holds like 20k y’all would make it look alright for TV but this looks bad at the initial broadcast. Maybe it’s just bad traffic.

Agreed, looked good on TV. I turned the game off after the 1st Qtr, though.
