Sounds like some of their fans are more offended by this than the actual players

"I don't hope for injuries, but I would laugh my ass off if this douche tore his achilles or blew an ACL on the second play from scrimmage just for how douchey he sounds. This sort of **** talking is fine if you're Brian Bosworth and playing for a contender chipring before you go play Nebraska, but it has no place in a NIU-Iowa game."

Ironic. This guy is a douche for saying he would laugh at someone getting injured, but calls someone else a douche for a little minor smack talk.

There always seems to be 1 or more in every fan base. I just ignore a douche like this one.

Iowa fan logic:
“We will we’re them down with our size!”

- NIU bigger than Iowa

“Well they’re just fat. We are more in shape!”

These guys are priceless....

All that alcohol does eat brain cells. Iowa fans probably have the least brain matter in the country.

The 2012/13 Florida State Seminoles and the 2018 Iowa Hawkeyes are just different from each other...let's just say that.

Well yeah, we have a better QB.
umm FSU had EJ Manuel, an NFL starting QB. You may want to wait before making statements like that.

Manuel is third string behind Carr and Cook. I'm pretty comfortable with my assessment.
Guess you're confident that your guy can play in the big league for 5+ years. Good luck!

Maybe we should post this is the Huskie locker room...

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa’s opener has all the makings of a truly memorable afternoon at Kinnick Stadium.

If the Hawkeyes beat Northern Illinois as expected on Saturday, coach Kirk Ferentz will surpass beloved mentor Hayden Fry — who is scheduled to fly up to Iowa City for the occasion — with his 144th career victory at the school.
