Carey just stated Tears is suspended for 2 games at his press conference.

I had shared on here a long time ago Tears was out the first two games
I have not heard the news of all year so I can not substantiate nor am I going to ask . The boys need to focus on Iowa at this point not this kind of thing

I would say Coach Carey announcing it at his press conference is sufficient substantiation.

randy posted months ago Tears was suspended 2 games and NIU didn’t announce until today.

So if he ends up suspended for the year, that would suggest additional incidents.

What was the date of the press conference where Carey said 2 games.

Oh ok well that's somewhat reassuring. Its hard to imagine NIU having a shot in the West without Tears. I know he has not separated himself as a star, but he is desperately needed in an already thin unit.

I apologize for that. I heard he did something in the last few weeks that warranted a year-long suspension but I guess my sources were wrong.
