Haven't figured out why Republicans don't use every parliamentary maneuver that exists to cut off the federal money to one of the Democrat's biggest campaign contributors. Planned Parenthood has been the biggest contributor to several Democratic congressional campaigns, including Georgia's 6th.

I am so tired of republicans folding under pressure.

They are the only thing standing between us and the socialist/communist left wing of the democrats. I could support Blue Dog democrats, if there were any left. But they're a dying breed, and republicans are doing a piss-poor job of it.

How is it even possible for a government funded organization to contribute to campaigns of any sort?

Here's the way I would approach it.

If you receive federal funds, you can't make political contributions.
If you make political contributions, you can't receive federal funds.

This would not include ordinary business transactions conducted on an arms-length basis.

Well that explains it. It takes too much common sense to have something like that in place.
