Exclamation Sharp and public money moving odds on college football win totals
https://www.betchicago.com/sharp-and-pub...win-totals

While the usual money is coming in on Notre Dame, a team from Alabama is drawing a lot of interest at the South Point, only it’s not the Crimson Tide. The South Point is taking sharp money on the UAB Blazers to go both over and under their win total. UAB opened at 7.5 wins and it’s now up to 8 wins with the OVER -140.

“Believe it or not, we’ve had a ton of action on Alabama-Birmingham both ways,” Andrews said. “It’s definitely sharp money. You just try to move the number and get some money back the other way and we are.

“We had a guy from Alabama come in and bet it pretty strong. I wouldn’t call this guy public money. I think he’s pretty sharp. I think we put him out for $20,000 on the UAB over, which is probably more than we should on a school like that but he’s a regular customer. We got sharp money the other way too though. But our biggest single bet is $20,000 on UAB over.”

Interesting it’s going both ways. That line is right where it belongs in my opinion. I’m still going with 7-5 this year, but 8-4 or 9-3 wouldn’t shock me.
