I challenge that psalm, I don't think anyone in those days were setting themselves on fire for kicks like I just saw in a thread. Amiright?

Human history is rife with people setting themselves on fire or ingesting poison.

This is sad. Really sucks it's going to get political because as the dad of a daughter, that's the LAST crap I'd want to deal with in this situation. The emphasis will be on the killer, and not Mollie. I pray her parents and family can eventually find some way to move on from this tragedy; however, I can also see how that would never be possible.

This is a great idea.

Another idea I just had: partial funding of the wall can come from donations around the world - not just the United States - to have their names engraved on parts of the wall.

Kind of like how boosters can have their names engraved on bricks as part of a stadium renovation.

Yes, but for kicks? I'm sure the people set on fire by the Inquisition weren't getting any jollies for getting burnt to a crisp.

Illegal is the killer, this is EXACTLY why we need ICE. We also need to BUILD THE WALL!!!!

People can be both sad and angry. It should be about Mollie AND about doing our best to prevent a future, similar tragedy.

I never said he was innocent. He should however have his day in court. Parents in Chicago experience this daily. Sad.

I agree; however, given today's political environment, we both know that's not how this is going to play out. The emphasis will be on the murderer and how he relates to current immigration practices and the victim will be quickly forgotten. If I was the father, if possible, after taken care of burying my daughter, I'd take a long ass trip elsewhere to get away from all that may come. I'd need time to grieve, not listen to political bickering.
