I think the nomenclature shift by the NCAA was silly and unwarranted.

The NCAA recognizes the FCS postseason as a championship.

It does no such thing for what the FBS does.

True, but people who pay even a passing glance worth of attention to college sports know that the FCS champion is not the best college team in the land. That's why I think it was silly. The nomenclature change was intended to imply that.

It was spiteful, and thus, silly yeah I agree.

But no one that watches college football thinks the FCS champ is better than the CFP champion. But, the NCAA does recognize one and it isn't the FBS one. Spiteful, meaningless, but I support why they did it.
