Doesn’t sound like he’s backing down...

Former CIA Director John Brennan issued fresh criticism of President Trump on Friday night, calling him “drunk on power” after he revoked Brennan's security clearance this week.

“I think right now, this country is in a crisis in terms of what Mr. Trump has done and is liable to do,” Brennan told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.

President Trump embarrasses himself, and by extension our nation, on a nearly daily basis.

But history will be much kinder to him than it will to any of the Obama/Clinton swamp creatures. The media's willingness to cover for this stunning collection of skunks and snakes will at some point run out. But the stench of their underhanded abuse of public office will follow them forever.

it's ironic how he conducts himself relative to previous POTUS.....

however, I contend he's the perfect solution to the previous ones in the current era.....

he's XACLY! what was req'd to wake up a nation......

does the #DJTexperiment work.....time will tell.....

he's raw, flies off the handle, brutally frank, simple terminology in front of the camera......blah blah blah be blah be blah be blah.....

if future historians measure via line 1b) then 1......if they measure via line 1c) then he will be remembered correctly as 1.....

#time

it's too funny.......we have the most transparent commander in chief in modern times and people go bat fk'n shite crazy......

I wish I could agree with you on the bolded part, but, as the saying goes, history is written by the victors and I don't believe that the principles upon which this country was founded and that made this country great for so many years will prevail in the end. The siren song of free stuff is just too great and the demographics are slowly changing in favor of even more free stuff.

To me, our country, our republic, is actually much like a patient dying of terminal cancer. I was sure when Obama won a second term, that it was all over with at that point, that there would be no coming back. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, came the Magnificent Orange Bastard.

I'm reminded of both my father-in-law and my dad, both of whom died of cancer. In their last days, in order to avoid suffering, both were put on morphine and basically became unconscious for several days. Then as the families gathered and waited quietly for the end to come, suddenly, almost miraculously, each awoke, alert, smiling, and spent several amazing hours talking with their families, reliving memories, laughing, and most importantly, saying things that had been left unsaid but needed to be said, coming to terms, accepting reality.

In my view, Trump has brought the country from the very brink of disaster that socialism, the cancer of all societies, was about to inflict upon us. America suddenly awoke, looked around, smiled, laughed, and began reliving the memories of what made us great.....reminding us all of what it is to be a great country, how we did it, why we did it, and what it meant to be an American.

Trump will get a second term and continue to breathe life into the country but after he's gone I don't hold out much hope that what he started can be continued.

Sorry to be so dour.

Brennan sounds like he is drunk on his own self importance. The country is not in crisis because Brandon doesn’t have a security clearance. Will be just fine but thank you for your concern Mr. Brennan.

It is so sad that people cannot recognize the fact that once everything is free there will be nothing to have.

Exactly. It's not like not having him around will make any difference. He's just like most of us employees he can be replaced. If presidents can be replaced a traitorous scumbag like him can be also and preferably be someone who isn't a partisan hater.

McRaven and I agree on one thing. His clearance needs to be pulled. Should have been a long time to go. The chancellor of Texas U has no need for a security clearance.

I have a problem with singling out 10 people for what may be political purposes. That’s petty and stupid. And what’s really stupid is 9 of the 10 are “pending review.” WTF is there to review. Pull the damn clearances. And pull a few thousand more while you are at it. John Brennan and James Clapper have zero need for security clearances, and we have zero need for them to have clearances.

So what he meant was that he was treasonous, but didn't commit treason? Is that like telling your wife that you weren't unfaithful, you just acted unfaithfully?

The explanation makes no sense.
