Take away Notre Dame ( who should not be in this category) and the ACC has 4 of the nine remaining teams on this list. Sounds pretty much like we need to be a P6 league.

It is indisputable that overall the AAC is in a different category than CUSA, the Sunbelt, MWC, and MAC.

Notre Dame has always been looped in with the P5 Conferences. Their requirements to reach a traditional New Years Day bowl is different from all G5 teams.

Correct.

Notre Dame is explicitly in the P5 with their ACC arrangement.

Brigham Young, Army, UMass, New Mexico State (if I'm not forgetting anyone) are not in the G5 because they are independent but they are definitely not considered P5 from any standpoint except conferences setting OOC scheduling policies.

Love/hate with CFU. If not for them, we'd be top dog of the AAC. But with them the AAC is much higher profile.

You are correct, there are Five. And autocorrect did mess up AAC for me. The old guy is not as sharp as he once was.
