So, is this a gigantic, new, "study hall" building? The modern day library, but without the books?

I think it is up to $50 million now. Which includes expanding the stadium locker room to make it big enough to be the everyday locker room and the hydro therapy pools at the stadium which should be completed shortly.

Well FAU is not spending anything this was donated through some large gifts.
I do believe they are trying to raise more to build the indoor facility over the practice field.

The first step to any program's success is winning over its own community. FAU has made its first step last season. Boca Raton is a very good community to win over. It is affluent and has many personal and social connections to FAU. Judging by the donations, community is now starting to get clued in.
