Question OT - LLWS
Justin Michaelis, son of former Owl, Derek Michaelis, gets the 1st hit for the Post Oak LL team in Williamsport. The hit was a ground ball up the middle off the New England SS's glove.

And then lines one up the middle for another hit in his 2nd AB. Unfortunately, Justin is doubled up on a line drive 5-3. Nice play by the NE 3Bman.

Justin is now 3 for 3 with a double into the gap.

And Rice gets a mention in reference to Post Oak's hitting coach, former Owl, Mark Quinn.

They sure brutalized the pronunciation of his last name. The young man has a nice bat swing. I was a bit surprised by his size. I was expecting an extremely tall, skinny player - similar to his Dad.
