RIP Aretha Franklin (moved from D-F)
She had a great gift and she shared it. As an artist, she certainly has more than a "little respect" from me.04-bow

She is now singing while Duane Allman's guitar wails, like she did in Muscle Shoals. What a singer, performer, artist, and human being!

There will never be another like her. Do yourself a favor and watch this if you haven't seen it before. I got chillbumps with the first few notes of the piano.

Her cover of “the long and winding road” thoroughly kills.

Lovely piece, could have done without the histrionics from Carole King, she looked like Kramer after going to the dentist.

Love it - what great sound, feeling, and rhythm! Sure puts hip hop to shame.

Well, it's her own song being performed by one of the best artists ever....AND she'd never seen her perform it live with the piano like that. I'd say it's warranted.
