Steinbrecher needs the money to try to sway ESPN to give the MAC another great deal. Maybe he can convince them that the MAC should be an all-weeknight conference.

In all seriousness, this is a good thing. The MAC has listened to the fans requesting the flag and has responded quickly with some items. This is good marketing. Not sure how the MAC is publicizing the availability of the flag, but I assume not much since the supply is apparently limited.

MAC put this out over Twitter and it's retweeted all over by college football media and fans who follow CFB.

Response has been very positive. (Albeit several comments about Flag being pricey at $75.)

That being said, can't really "Fly The Flag" til the MAC gets at least one W vs a P5. Get 1 or 2 in Week 1 and this will be all over media.

Too bad the old farts like me are not on social media. If it weren't for this board, I wouldn't know about lots of stuff. I don't like social media (such as Facebook) because I value at least some sense of privacy (the last bit that may remain). Besides, what I would post probably would not interest most people (including myself). Then again, I may attract a huge cult-like following clamoring for the next bit of news about my perversions.

If that is an actual double sided heavy weight outdoor rated flag that won't sun bleach ... then $75 is about what one of those cost at retail.

If it's just some silk screened stuff like a cheap t-shirt ... then yea, you got a point.

Make sure you face the correct side of the flag to the cameras. The solid black logo-less side won't mean too much.
