And I'm his son! I have Rhett Gallego's helmet that he wore when he kicked the game winner against LSU in 2000 (and he signed it for me last year). I have an old UAB lineman's jersey hanging on my wall (Paul Linsky) and we are both good friends now! I have a shirt that my dad got in the old UAB bookstore that says UAB 58-UAT 56 "Just the Beginning" and it has the date of the game on it (Gene Bartow also signed this). I have all the UAB bobbleheads. I have a Hawaii Bowl small poster that is signed by everyone that was on the 2004 team. I also have a frame with the LSU program, newspaper clippings, pictures from the trip and ticket in it. I have A LOT more, but those are my favorites.

Large framed pics of the first Sun Belt champs team in 80-81 season. It has pix of Anchrum, Speer, Jonath Nicholas, Craig Lane and others and a really good team pic of them holding up SB Champs trophy. This pic hung in the athletics department for many years. When they remodeled I guess they just got rid of everything because a guy in Slocomb (near Ala/ Fla line) had it and put it on ebay or some bid site. I'd seen this in the athletics office lots of times when buying tix etc. For Fathers Day my son contacted Mo Finley, my all time favorite Blazer. They worked out a meeting and Mo brought him a basketball from the athletics department and he autographed it and gave me a media guide signed by the entire Sweet Sixteen team that beat Kentucky. Mo and my son put in some effort for that and I love the bball and the media guide!! I have a ton of other stuff but I'll stop ........Ive passed some even better Blazer memorabilia to my son who is a HUGE Blazer as well.

You ought to get Saban to sign that shirt. He might if his wounds from that loss have healed.
Why on earth would I want Saban's autograph on my UAB shirt? On anything, other than the money I could get for selling it?
Brad and Stacy sent it to me while I was deployed in Afghanistan as a gift. I flew it for every win we had that year while I was deployed no matter the sport.
Once home I took it to every football home game and a few away games during our first year back.
I also took it to the NCAA finals in Louisville when we beat Iowa.
I even got Coach Clark to sign it and I'll have it on me tonight during the USM game.
It has the score of just about every UAB football game it's been to win lose or draw. It also got signed by Craig Morgan while I was deployed.
