RE: ACC Power Ratings For Craft Beer
The only time I've seen Atlanta and Craft Beer mentioned without the use of Sweetwater. Which is baffling. And within the footprint the hands down undisputed champion of Craft Beer is Asheville, NC. Dang hippies.

Too far away to claim Asheville. Hell Ommengang is closer to Cuse than Asheville to GA.

Wasn't claiming Asheville, just saying it's the best spot in the footprint. Was however claiming the omission of Sweetwater for Atlanta is puzzling.

The guys at Nunes magician usually do good work. On the Louisville Craft Brewery scene their research is severely lacking. It suffers because most folks think Bourbon with Louisville. While that’s true, local craft beers are plentiful and tasty.

While ATG is good, I can name three or four better. I link a Travel Channel piece on the craft beer scene in the Derby City.

I know Swag hates UGA, but Athens is a cool trip with some tasty craft brews.

My wife and I did a trip to Athens...the city was okay. I didn't think it was as good as the hype. The University was overrated too for beauty.

You just need to go after a football game to take in the full splendor and beauty of iconic Athens.

RE: ACC Power Ratings For Craft Beer
Speaking of craft beer...I don't pay much attention to beer ratings by hipsters and millennials. I prefer my beer less hoppy and lighter lagers are not a bad thing at September tailgates.

I have folks at my tailgate biotch we don't have enough craft beers. When we stock the tailgate with 10-12 cases...you make a decision to buy domestic or Canadian at $20 for a 30 pack instead of $9 for a 6 pack of Sour Wit Mash Growler Hipster double strength IPA.

Not totally inaccurate description of a UGA home game.

Quote:Athens -- Whole tailgate tents left half-standing. Abandoned portable grills. Urination in campus doorways. Defecation. Trash strewn everywhere.

These are the conditions early risers are encountering when they venture onto the University of Georgia campus for a Sunday morning stroll or drive the day after a Georgia football game. UGA President Michael Adams was just such a person after the South Carolina game this past weekend and he was appalled by what he saw.

https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/uga-t...L06ufg5BM/

Quote:ATHENS - University of Georgia President Michael Adams blasted football fans who trashed the campus before Saturday’s football game, leaving behind 70 tons of garbage, much of it strewn across the university’s picturesque north quads.

http://www.jacksonville.com/article/2009.../801227929

We're talking about fans who have a reputation for, among other things, pissing off the upper deck of their own stadium onto visiting fans. UGAg is the WVU of the SEC. Even Alabama fans look at UGAg with revulsion. Trashy people. Trashed campus. It's that simple.

Please don’t be so quick to paint all UGa fans with such a wide brush. Not all of us are this way. I’m sure more than a few fans were horrified when they saw those pictures. Looks like more than a few folks had too much to drink, and then were too lazy to pick it up.

In general ... the UGA fans who hold a diploma are alright. The massive army of Wal-Mart fans that actually fuels the football program, however, is atrocious.
