This article indicates he is actually a combo guard that can shoot as well as distribute. So, it would seem he could be on the floor at the same time with either Lomax or Harris. Can't ever get enough good shooters...

Waiting to see if he lists us as one of his official visits.

Boogie sets his official visits to GA Tech, Oregon, San Diego State, Arizona and Gonzaga; visiting USC. I don't see anything about a Memphis visit right now.

Only 6 official visits allowed. I don't think we are in it with him unless he's visiting unofficially, which I doubt, San Diego is a long way from Memphis for an unofficial. I was hoping we had a shot, he is probably the best shooter in this class.

He visits GA Tech Sept 14-16. I was hoping he'd swing by Memphis during that time for unofficial but you are right. The kid appears to be a very good shooter.

If its one thing Josh seems to have down pact its a sales pitch to guards.

According to Grassroots United Hoops Ellis says he will be visiting all of the schools on his final 8, so sounds like we will get a visit afterall.

What's the breakdown of the new NCAA rules? 5 visits your junior year, 5 before your senior season starts, then 5 more after? It's something like that. So, yeah, he could still visit all 8.

I agree. It would be nice to get some commitments at Memphis Madness. It’s been said that Wiseman and Watford are waiting until the Spring to sign. We’ll see what happens.

According to Evan Daniels Q&A on 247 today, he said he's hearing Duke and Memphis are in the best shape to land Boogie. This sort of surprises me given all the public buzz on social media around Boogie/UNC but I'll take it
