Drove past it on my way to Pawley's Island a few weeks ago. It looked like footers were being poured for the second level deck on the highway side of the stadium.

For this season, what will be your capacity? With this pic., it appears to be several months before finishing. Will be attending the State game.

Same as last season. 15.5k. Next year the upper deck on visitor’s side will be complete and capacity be ~21k.

Will the upper deck be built on need or just going to do it on a timeline regardless of need?

Timeline regardless of need. The pic in this thread shows the progress of the support structure for the upper deck. It's being built right now. It was supposed to be done for this season but there were delays that I understand were due to weather.

But there is virtually zero chance that the upper deck won't be there for the 2019 season.

Don't worry. The capacity is going to be ~21k. I know some here are deathly afraid / convinced that we are going to be sitting at a 15k capacity for the indefinite future but that is flat out not happening. The expansion is being completed as we speak and will continue throughout this year's season.

It doesn’t. Not sure what you’re referencing.

If you go to the football section of goccusports.com and pull up the media guide, it says capacity is 15k.

Anyone who has been to our stadium in the last year knows good and well it isn’t a 9k seat stadium.

For your ease, here is the link to the fact book. Go to the 3rd page with the quick facts and look at “stadium / field”.

RE: Coastal Stadium
I just acquired 4 tickets for the App Coastal Carolina game and I'm looking forward to visiting your stadium. The CCU website appears to only offer season parking passes. What is the parking situation at the stadium for single game ticket holders? Is it easy to drive in to find one or do you recommend buying a pass on the secondary market?

There are shuttles that run back and forth from general parking where a season pass is not required.

If you're a half way able bodied person (not super old or super obese) you can walk to the stadium from pretty much any parking lot you park in.

One of the benefits of our school being at the beach is that it is flat. It isn't like Boone where you need a ski lift to get to the stadium. 04-cheers

I hope you really enjoy your time on our campus. Visit downtown conway if you have time.

I'll be at that game as well.

Looking forward to Coastal visiting Mobile on November 24th. Hope your team brings a large contingent of Chanticleer fans to visit the Port City and see the shape ole Ladd-Peebles is in. You will be very thankful of Brooks Stadium and the fact your expansion is underway.

It's on this page: https://goccusports.com/sports/2018/5/24...-html.aspx

Appears that the sports information staff have overlooked updating it to the current capacity.

Interesting. Apparently they have. However, it shows correctly in our released media guide.

This may be more of a Congress, “you’ll find out what is in the budget, when we pass the budget” type of construction. Joe Mogliga went on SportsTalkSC last night saying the future capacity would be “22,000 or 23,000”.
