Anyone have plans for the Iowa game? Gonna be going this year. Is there any specific lot we should shoot for? Thanks for the input.

+1. Last time I was in that gigantic grass lot area. It was really cool but not many Huskie fans. Where’s the party gonna be???

Lot 65. Big lot, lot of room.

Little bit of a walk but good atmosphere. Younger crowd. Was a decent amount of NIU fans among the soon to be dejected Hawkeye crowd.

Last time we were at the Hancher lot for tailgating, probably will end up there again. Never know if they will classify the Huskie Sprinter as an RV, $80 RV parking is a bit steep for lot 65.

Anyone know when the tailgate lots open?

Think my group is gonna do the NIU Tent thing. Beer and Food and possible gift for $50.

If anyone needs a hotel room or is wanting a better option, there is a new hotel in Iowa City located just 1 mile from Kinnick Stadium It just opened in june(it is a remodel, so not new) and is called “graduate”. Rooms are still available and look pretty cool. It’s all college themed. It’s about $185/night but I believe there is some promo right now.

I don't see empty pizza boxes, stained carpeting, a hole in the wall, a pile of dirty clothes, a 110 watt sound sytem, a 13 inch tv. Zeppelin...Who....or beer posters with playmates or a table made out of Old Milwaukee returnables. THAT would be college.

It would also be nice to see an Ann Bancroft themed suite, even a lookalike putting some hosiery on. That I didn't get in college. But it wasn't for trying when giving shots to the landlord in the Grey townhouses when she was looking for a keg in the basement bedrooms.

Can anyone recommend a lot for cars? I see from map there are free lots for cars that have shuttle buses to Kinnick stadium.

In regards to Lot 65, how early do you need to get there to get a spot? We will be arriving probably around 11am.
