The box score from Friday's Raiders win over the Lions showed 10 Detroit players with receptions. Kenny Golladay was not one of them. Anyone know what's going on?

The best players don't play much. He is definitely a part of their plans

I was back n forth but am fairly certain he only played the first quarter. Dropped a bad pass and didn't get a lot of reps but is clearly part of the top WR core. Its all good.

Very excited to be a Golladay owner in my dynasty fantasy league. Big things ahead for him this season, and actually think the Lions could have their best team in a long time.

The Lions lost Ebron and have almost nothing at TE (Just Luke Willson). The Lions offense will be Stafford slinging to Tate, Jones and Golladay behind the 8th rated offensive line per ProFootballFocus. TJ Jones and Willson will be bit players.

This might be your most outlandish post ever, and that’s saying something.

Might be a little overstated haha, but I do think Bears will contend for the division this year. I see Week 2 as a huge pivotal game for them. Week 1, new coach, new offensive system, probably going to come out of Lambeau with an L. That week 2 Home opener vs Seattle I believe sets the pace and expectations.

I’m hoping Kenny can stay healthy and have a solid year, but I’m with MD on this one and have drank all the Bears kool-aid. I’m even predicting a big Bears win week 1 in Lambeau!

Go Huskies and Go Bears!

RE: golladay
Golladay didn't play much and was only targeted a couple of times, IIRC. Matt Stafford didn't play at all, so the fact it was Cassel out there pitching probably didn't help.

NFC North is expected to be the toughest division and Bears expected to be last by far. Vegas has Bears pegged as 3rd worst Super Bowl odds. They did have a good draft but it's a long way to the top.

I dumped out my Bears Koolaid. Once Trubisky gets to be at least an average NFL QB then they might have a chance, and not until then. And it won't be this year.

The only chance they have this year is if all the other QBs in their division contract a case of malaria or something.

Trubisky is fine, just need to surround him with playmakers and a great O Line. Without that it does not matter so much how good your QB is.

I cannot believe this Roquan situation is continuing. I'm not sure who to blame , but the fact an agent can basically end a kids dream of playing in the NFL is pretty incredible to me

Praise the Lord. People were starting to compare him to Cedric Benson on twitter. Sounds like a 50 50 deal whether he will be ready in time for Green Bay

RE: golladay
ESPN article about predicted breakout players for all 32 teams:

Detroit Lions
WR Kenny Golladay. The second-year pro is healthy after a rookie year that saw him miss a handful of games with a hamstring injury. He's working with the ones and offers the Lions a second deep threat with exceptional leaping ability, along with veteran Marvin Jones. With Eric Ebron off in Indianapolis, Golladay's target share should open up, and he has the skill and the catch radius to become a dynamic performer. A 700- to 750-yard season is not unrealistic for Golladay, which would be a good year in an offense that had two 1,000-yard receivers in 2017. -- Michael Rothstein

Anyone have news on the other NIU guys? Just wondering how they are doing.

I like the Bears to but they are a couple years off yet. It will be Packers or Vikings this year.
