Can you clip them to the top of the door frames (sometimes the angle is not desirable though)?

That might be a little bit of challenge since the door frame is not only thicker but has a weird waterfall design that will not let the clip slide in. I have waited too long to get a 3d printer and finally decided to buy one and do this clip design on my own and for 150 bucks this printer looks like a good fit for a 3d printing noob.
