No need to brag about bowl results, AAC members have made it clear to CUSA y'all don't care about bowl results.

That's a nice run and a great bounce-back from 2015 to 2017. Should be a good game between you guys and FAU.

we care about bowl results but are also aware of matchups.... you guys just take it too far..

you are having your #1 and #2 teams playing our #6 #5 teams without their coaches and making conference statements about it....houston could got go 4-0 in bowl games vs the sec our #1-4 vs their #7-11.. we'd be super hyped about the wins and the record, but we wouldn't start making claims that we are better than the sec because of it, a common occurrence here

Lol, Houston couldn’t even beat Fresno State in bowl game.

AAC has by far had the worst bowl record as a conference. Losing to G5 across the board, their excuse was that AAC doesnt care about bowl.

I get that, but we play who we are told to play. And yes, if our #2 beats your #5, doesn't mean we are a better conference. I'm sure any CUSA member can admit AAC is a better conference.

That’s false, Tech beat AAC regular season champ Navy in Armed Forces

Division champ. Just like SMU destroyed CUSA division champ UNT last year

So Temple won the east that year and Navy won the west. Temple beat Navy 34-10 in the AAC championship game so actually Temple won the AAC that year. I understand why you phrased your statement like that. Just wanted to point out we see what you did here.

Lol, Tech beat #1(AAC regular season Champ) Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl
Watch the excuses that follow lol

this is exactly what im talkng about, you remove any context and make it seem better than it actually is....

you are ignoring navy lost its qb, and was 0-2 without him before playing lat -tech (and was 9-1 with him)....but yes, lets ignore any context.

no one in the aac would claim dominance over the sec, if for example we beat Georgia knowing chubb and michel were both injured in the game

heres the thing, your soter this season is far better than last season... if fau is all the sauce you guys think it is and kiffin is the mastermind behind everything ..beating a rebuilding oklahoma, and a rebuilding ucf , shouldnt honestly be that difficult, if fau is as good as you guys think you are....

if fau struggles, then manages to look great during conference play, we'll all know what is up

In FAUs defense, they are replacing their QB and they don't get a tuneup game for him before playing Oklahoma. Not sure I would consider Oklahoma and UCF in rebuild stages. UCF as a new coach, but he has a lot to work with.

Oklahoma returns 12 starters
UCF returns 14 starters
FAU returns 15 starters

but fau had numerous players better than its starters sitting out on injury or transfer rules, fau lost its qb, but the consensus opinion by non-fau fans was that he want good.... if you consider kiffin the mastermind, they should be drastically better this year
ucf is completely changing staff, lost most of the key defensive players, and Oklahoma lost a significant amount of play makers including the Heisman winner but on paper should take a step back

if fau was truly as good a s fau fans have been touting, then both should be wins for fau....* if you believe they were as good as fau fans think they were

Houston, Memphis and UCF are for sure on an upward trend.

It pains me to defend FAU because, well they are FAU. However, you are stating FAU is deeper than Oklahoma and UCF. Doubt that. Can we agree that they are better than average and leave it at that?

We should all be glad the pre-season T25 isn't all P5 schools.

i never said they were deeper than ucf/oklahoma

my point: fau fans claim they were elite by seasons end last year, some even said better than ucf..that their 1st few games didnt reflect who they were. by all measurements they should be better this season

ucf the team they say they were better than is getting worse, they are getting better..if they are as good as they want to believe, the should win, by that logic.. that was the point i was trying to make

Yea, I hear ya. I just hate it when we talk about our previous success. We are a respected program with lots of tradition that really needs to make some new noise.

Without their coach and a team that quit without him. Meanwhile both CUSA division champs got destroyed by middle of the pack AAC teams.

Funny how FAU is excused for early season losses due to new coaches getting acclimated, but SMU biwl is not despite not having their coach

AAC Excuses for consitently being the worse conference in Bowl Games:
1. AAC teams don't care about Bowl games especially against fellow G5 opponents.
2. Injuries, AAC teams are the only teams that have injuries 03-lmfao
3. The G5 teams play their crappy teams.
4. Coach leaves for greener pasture

Sure they quit, just like Navy couldn't win without their triple option QB. 03-lmfao

An option Quarterback that hardly ever throws, Navy is truly a plug and play system thats what makes them so stout every year.

BTW every team has injuries including Tech, good luck floating the injuries excuse, no one will buy that BS
