that's great....tell us why

I was a basketball fan long before football. I was 15 when Larry and Ronnie were sophomores and along with Gene Bartow turned the team around. I'd listen to Big Jack call the game on the radio and them watch the home game replays on channel 10 with Matt Dillion and Al Brown. Good times.

Move the graves to Elmwood, there are tours there regularly. But that location is practically next door to UT Memphis. I would rather have it at Tiger Lane before there. I know it's football and he's basketball but there or the Forum (for his contributions the the university AND the city), or on campus.

BTW, don't think of one for cal unless you want it for a paintball target!

Those Channel 10 replays were the bomb - they went along way toward helping build the rabid fan base

It was easy back then without all the instant twittering and such to watch the Ch 10 replay as if it were live

i remember the Marquette game when dude hit a 30 footer to beat us and then watched the channel 10 replay. Big Jack said the guy looked at the clock and threw up a shot. On the replay he appeared to look right at the camera which was above the scoreboard and threw in.

Al McGuire gave the Memphis crowd the middle finger after that thrilling game.
