Ironically, I'm pretty sure this result pleased NO ONE. OSU fans are mad because they felt like Meyer shouldn't have been punished at all. The rest are mad he isn't fired. This compromise may end up being the worst case overall PR scenario.

Either he broke rules or he didn't. If he did, it's a fireable offense. Admitted his broke rules and only giving a 3 game suspension just downplays the seriousness of it. They would have been better off just saying he didn't do anything wrong and keeping him (though IMO he should be fired)

Jim Rome is ripping him a new asscheek today. It’s a good listen.

The whole situation is a flipping joke.

UCF has a statue outside the stadium that proves it.

If this guy had all these legal issues with his wife for domestic abuse how come OSU HR didn't get involved?

I'm not sure how much or how little Meyer should be blamed in the guy staying on but it seems very odd that he had all these documented issues and at no point did the football program, the athletic department, or the university's HR department get involved till now. Just seems way to convenient or overlooking to me.

I guess he just suffered from temporary Amnesia when he admittedly "willfully and intentionally" lied about his knowledge of the issue at Big10 Media Days.

One thing Urbie doesn't do is ease up or let off the gas. I guarantee you that.

We played up there three years ago and he ran Ezekiell Elliott about 300 times... because we couldn't tackle him. Our D finally started to put up a fight but if they could have scored 100, they would have.

I think he's lucky he still has a job. All this shows is....to me anyway....is that Ohio St cares about wins and losses more than anything else.
