RE: Pick a SBC school to attend
Like X said, we're really wide east-to-west. There aren't really businesses between the football stadium and campus, there's a Salt Grass Steakhouse right on the river (school owns and leases the building) and a small convenience store across from the basketball arena (Western Union on that picture). For the most part though, it's all student parking, intramural/practice fields, the river, and the school owned golf course. As much as we're running out of land, those surface parking lots are slated to become garages/buildings soon. The 10 year master plan also has several buildings to be built down there.

The very easy answer is App, boarding after classes during the winter, easy win. Especially back in the day when the Nest was open with midnight riding.
I think they calling that the "Nighthawk". Was a cool deal back in the day. Careful on that drive back down after midnight.
You described a typical winter day for me at App. Classes then runs at Sugar. We would go during the week and have the whole mountain to ourselves. The rest of the year was tight fly lines on the river.
Damn I miss those days.
