The best player from the Dollar era, Isiah Umipig, has been moving up the euro ranks and is now playing in the top tier league in Turkey.

That's great for Umipig & SU. Loved watching that guy ball. Also, reminds me to mention that Dewayne Russell signed on with a club in the top tier league in Germany. WAC representing around the globe!

The G League held their draft today. Jemerrio Jones went to the Santa Cruz Warriors in the first round and Nick Dixon was picked by the Austin Spurs in the third round.

Jemerrio Jones was traded to South Bay Lakers right after the G-League draft (the Warriors made moves to get 18 year old Serbian Alen Smailagic drafted by South Bay and Jaleel Cousins drafted by RGV Vipers; the latter obviously a family move).

The good news is he made the opening day roster for the South Bay Lakers

The Santa Cruz Warriors did have former Chicago State Cougar ('16) Trayvon Palmer (he played in England last year) in camp, having been invited from the local tryout. But alas he didn't make the final cut.

Very impressive! Best of luck to him.
Also watched the Lakers-Raptors game on Sunday and Siakam looked amazing. His game seems to be improving each and every year.

I took my son to the Suns v. Raptors game on Friday night, and it was fun to see Siakam again live. He looked pretty loose and playful during warm ups. He started the game, as I believe he has been, and had a relatively productive night (10 points/5 boards in 27 minutes). Pistons are at the Suns in March, so would be cool to try and go to that game, too, if Lofton works his way up to the big club by then.
