Schedule Breakdown: UTSA
@ Arizona State - We're 0-1 against them. They beat us 32-28 in a heartbreaker at the Alamodome 2 years ago. We led nearly the entire game (including 28-12) and lost it in the 4th. Sun Devils were 7-6 (6-3) in the Pac 12 last year. Loss

Baylor - We're 1-0 against them. Big 12 Bears sucked last year. They'll be better this year. Loss

@ Kansas State - We're 0-1 against them. They beat us 30-3 in the Alamodome 3 years ago. Wildcats were 8-5 (5-4) in the Big 12 last season. Loss

Texas State - We're 2-0 against them so far. Win

UTEP - We lead 3-2, and the visiting team has still won every game in this series. The home curse is broken this year. Win

@ Rice - Series tied 3-3. Win

LA Tech - Bulldogs lead 5-1, and there's no reason to believe anything will change this year. Loss

@ Southern Miss - Series tied 2-2. Loss

@ UAB - Series tied 1-1. Loss

FIU - Series tied 1-1. Win

@ Marshall - Series tied 1-1. Loss

UNT - We lead 3-2. Loss

------------

Yes, that's only 4-8. For me, there are just too many question marks offensively, and I don't wanna get my hopes up too high. One of our top QB prospects (Frank Harris) went down with a season-ending injury this summer, so I'm not sure what to expect. Our offensive line struggled last year, and we might see more of that this season as well.

Defensively, we should be solid again, even without Marcus Davenport. Our special teams fared pretty well last year also, and I expect more of the same there as well. The question marks about our offense are really troubling me right now though. But if our new OC gets us headed in the right direction, we could finish as high as 6-6.

RE: Schedule Breakdown: UTSA
Here's a fun question for UTSA fans. In what year will TXST first beat UTSA in football?

It's got to bother some people in San Marcos that they have been playing football for a hundred years and they can't beat UTSA. :)

Aren't there like 8 QBs on the roster? One of them has to be able to play.
