US Finally Welcomed Home the Remains of Soldiers from Korea, Only Fox News Covered it
Quote:[Image: Youtube-Fox-News-MSNBC.jpg]

After 65 years away from American soil, the remains of soldiers lost in Korea were finally returned to the United States in a beautiful ceremony — MSNBC didn't cover any part of it.

Fox News covered the event significantly, including an interview between Pete Hegseth and Vice President Mike Pence. The vice president attended the event on behalf of President Donald Trump, calling it an “honor” to welcome the remains back home, adding “Today our boys are coming home.”

Although the event was a historical moment for the United States and the families of the fallen, MSNBC gave the event no attention. CNN did not do much better, granting the story less than one minute of live coverage.

Fox News' Howard Kurtz called the decision “the wrong call,” adding, “You can't overstate the emotional significance of these presumed remains of these American fighting soldiers coming home 65 years after the Korean War ended.”

Kurtz also pointed to the political significance of the event in relation to the nuclear negotiations between the two countries, calling it a “chess move.”

The vice president saw the lack of coverage as a misunderstanding of the American people, telling Fox and Friends' Hegseth:

"I think there's a lot of people in the so-called mainstream media that would do well to spend a little bit more time traveling across this country and listening to the American people. [...] They're focused on ensuring that our courts respect the constitution of the United States and all the God-given liberties enshrined there. People see when it comes to President Donald Trump, it really has been a year and a half of promises made and promises kept.”

I suppose future generations of politicians who perform these types of ceremonies will be able to say "Today our boys and girls and non-binary, intersex soldiers are coming home."
