So what your saying is we aren’t making the NCAA tourney yet again in year 6.

SHOCKING.

Love this insight btw.

Your knowledge of what odu is interested in is ASTOUNDING lol. Ha

You couldn’t have POSSIBLY been more wrong ha ha.

If only they’d taken my recommendation about not hiring jones in the first place, we may have been to an NCAA tourney by now.

I'm not surprised about ODU turning their nose up at all this sage advice. They didn't even take the guy on Facebook's offer to work on the landscaping around Foreman Field.

Saw a Facebook post a week or two back where he was still criticizing the landscaping. 03-lmfao

If anyone reads this board, I will offer to call offensive plays for free. Imagine how much money they could save.

I've seen 2 or 3 over the past year or two. He brings it up every time.

You say this like you know who he is and how he operates when not behind a computer screen.

He very well could be the exact same face to face...

Mind blowing I know but I love how people say keyboard warrior or internet gangster. For all you know, they might would smack the piss out of someone face to face too.

Yall have at it regarding that, but in all seriousness if Elbert Robinson isnt in playing shape by time season comes along, we're going to be in rough shape expecting true freshman (one who people said needs to redshirt) to produce for us.

Right now, I dont know how anyone could be anything but skeptical. We have unproven inexperienced players all along the front court and thats fact. Aaron Carver is not a scoring threat and I would tend to think most agree on that. Im not burning down the barn but i think we have some major leaps to take before we become competitive to the level we were last year. I'll wait and see but I am interested to see what the freshman can bring. I HOPE ITS SOMETHING.

I appreciate you picking up on the subtlety of the joke that I too am behind a computer screen (or mobile device if I'm feeling fancy).

Why so serious? The post was among one of the most ridiculous things he's ever said, even for his standards. It's hilarious. I'm sure he appreciates you backing him up, though. Perhaps if he were ever to come smack me in the face in person, you could be there standing behind him too.

I think we are all well aware of the dire situation we are in. You didn't ask, but I was in the camp for moving to the next coaching staff THIS season since missing the NCAAT. But comic relief is exactly that, and it is welcome here. You may be as serious as you'd like though.

Lol and how hilarious it was. I actually rolled around on the floor for about 30 mins laughing before making my post because everyone can read text and determine the manner it was supposed to be delivered. He very well could appreciate me backing him up. I dont know and I couldnt care less. I dont know him any better that you so thats irrelevant. Thanks for your permission of allowing me to be as serious as I'd like. I was desperately seeking your permission. Have a great day you jokester you.

Yours truly,

Mr. Serious

PS. Who truly believes our team this year will be NCAAT ready and capable? Dickens needs work and may not even be eligible and Reece "probably" needs a redshirt year? With the current players and lack of front court how many really think we can make the Tourney with our new recruits compared to last year?

I wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing this for both FB and MBB by the end of their respective seasons.

I agree, I think it would be a bad call to fire Wilder this season even he only wins 4 games like I'm predicting. I want to see what he can do with a new stadium first.

(While our frontcourt will be formidable in 2019-20, we will be totally rebuilding our backcourt).

We'll have Kithcart and Godwin as presumed starters. Green will still be here. I believe Wade is versatile enough can play bc. It might not be our strongest component but it won't be ground zero either.

Yeah, the backcourt will presumably be pretty experienced.

Kithcart- Redshirt Junior
Godwin- Junior
Green- Redshirt Junior
Wade- Redshirt Freshman or Soph

It will obviously depend on the development of Kithcart as a point guard, but there are pieces.
