Strange murder case in Houston
https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/01/us/mark-h...index.html

I don't know if many people outside of Houston have seen this story but trust me, this story will be a documentary on Netflix in the future. A prominent Houston doctor (Mark Hausknecht - a cardiologist who has performed surgery on President George H.W. Bush) was shot and killed while biking on his way to work in the Houston Medical Center near Rice University back on July 20th.

The killer was also on a bike, but hasn't been caught yet. They have some grainy surveillance film of him but up until yesterday, the only image they had was a police artist's sketch of him. Yesterday, they announced one of the lead suspects is a 62-year-old former cop in Houston who may have shot the doctor due to a 20-year-old grudge due to his mother dying in heart surgery 20 years ago.

There are some other odd twists to the story. Hopefully they find the suspect shortly, although there is some speculation he may have committed suicide within the last day or two.

I fully expected this to be about some Clinton antagonist.

Strange murder case in Houston
I’ve read the suspect is indeed the guy angry about his mother’s death on a surgical table some 20 years ago.

The guy had posted pretty openly about his anger over it (on the bookface, or whatever arena) and that he was suicidal as well.

IOW’s the guy sounds like a certifiable nut that has recently snapped.

Who knows, hopefully they find he’s offed himself in his car at the local park or boat launch...

The murderer killed himself today in SW Houston when police were closing in on him. I'm surprised he was still close to his home to be honest. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
