that Florida tourney seems like a hot mess. still no field announced. their website and social media is a dated disaster of non-info. the tourney is 3 months away and there is no info or anything for fans who might want to attend. the tourney has a history of terrible attendance and problems getting folks from visiting teams to show up. Now, I see why.

but, yeah, good home schedule. should be a fun team to root for this season

Per usual, we play at Buffalo on a weekday, and it will remain the lone MAC arena i havent been to. Been sitting at 11/12 for years.

The FGCU tournament schedule was finally released and UT plays the host team in their first game. I hope the Rockets get to play South Dakota State. I would love to see how Knapke and Edu match up with their center, Mike Daum, who is one of the top bigs in the country. There is a story on the UT website about the tournament field.

good to see that tournament committee finally get the field together. it was last minute, but ends up being a nice field. got some pedigree with it as a good half the field has recent ncaa appearances and every team is either good or from a marginal high major conference (MW, CUSA). cool to have the first game of an 8 team field against the local team in the prime time slot. south dakota state is on the other side of the bracket and would seem to be the favorite
