Just back from Japan where lawns are frequently turned into vegetable gardens. I see no reason for opposing anyone's right to do the same things here. Letting people use lawns that way comports for more closely to "white people's" concepts of private property. So why the race baiting.

Note that this is in that bastion of racist right-wingers--Connecticut. Actually what's going on here is much more compatible with liberals' and globalists' ideas of Big Brother control over people that it is with "white people's" concepts of private property rights.

Wasn't it Connecticut where the state's right to seize private property for a development that was never built upheld? National socialism at its finest.

Most towns have rules in place to cover what can and can not be in front of a home. Letting people do as they wish like a veggie garden could easily turn into someone letting their grass get waist high and say its their garden.

What works in Japan doesn't work here. So by doing as you want you are not only affecting your home but the value of those around you.

Why put a veggie garden in the front lawn? The kitchen and outdoor patio are usually connected, thus put the garden in the back or side yard. Easier to bring the veggies into the kitchen, as opposed to walking in the front door and going through the living room family room. Also why the garage is located close to the kitchen. That is a strange Asian tweeter.

If you can naturally grow a lawn in the front yard, it is wise to do so. It produces enough oxygen for a family of 4 for an entire year.

If you live rural, you can pretty much put your garden wherever. If you live in a subdivision within a city limit, there are often restrictions on where the garden can go. And that typically means in the backyard, which is really no big deal. But if you dont like it, dont purchase the home then ***** about it and call it racist.
