Very first post is laughable and tells you something about that person. CUSA team???? History of corruption? You know i am still trying to remember that period in which Tiger players were arrested for shaving points in post season play and the time that the Tiger's got the death penalty for it's basketball program. What year was it that our basketball team got EVERY team on the campus banned from post season? Just how many of our players have gotten a lifetime ban from the NBA?

What's even funnier they think if we get Wiseman and DJ along with other recruits and experienced guys from this season we wont sniff the tournament. We will be nit bound. Lmao

Would be top 10. I don't know about top 5.
3 five stars and a four star would be top 5

Outside of ESPN I don't think I've seen anyone call Jeffries a 5 star and Dandridge is a 4 star outside the top 100. If you tell me that Hurt or McDaniels is added to the class then I'd agree with you on top 5. I'd also have to wait and see who lands at KY, Duke, UNC, Indiana, USC, etc before saying top 5.

If you get 3 top 30 guys you are going to have a top 5 class...

UK and Duke likely end up 1 and 2 grabbing more than 8 of the top 30 between the two of them...

That leaves around 18 top 30 guys left for the rest of the country. I doubt too many people surpass 3 top 30 guys with UK and Duke hoarding so much of the top talent.

I still think when it all said and done we get five players with Danridge being the lowest rated and our class will be number one. I go by ESPN rankings.

Most Arrogant group of CS’s ignorant posts I’ve ever read. They think they own CBB yet Cal has been there 9 years and won how many NCs ? One with the best talent most years. So they have really underachieved.

Some of their fans are saying that we won’t be so happy once we realize Penny can’t coach. That you can’t win on talent alone in college.

Then there’s the one guy who unfollowed DJ Jeffries. Just cold...

Ironic considering Calipari needs a 7 to 1 talent advantage to be great and even then still often underachieves.

So true. Wins NC, comes back with a top 5 recruiting class and fails to make the tournament the next year. Then loses first round of NIT.

Every staff needs one of two things: a coach who is universally respected or an enforcer (Mitchell). We have both. Too many kids on the team would run through a brick wall for Penny. Anyone non conforming will be an outcast. I don’t see that being and issue.

I want to see his system and style of play.

Considering the sad state of the program prior to the Penny hire, I've no doubt that the new coaching staff along with their respective commits will have zero challenges encouraging one or two Tubby recruits to get it in gear. 03-lmfao

Geez theyre an angry crew. One poster over there suggested that Calipari should now gut Penny from the front. I guess the idea is that Calipari typically gutss em from the back. Lots of nasty-- lots of hate.

So going by that we don't even Surpass what USC already has committed if we get Wiseman, Watford and DJ.

i just entered those and got an average of 68.53
usc is at 67.76
memphis would be no. 1 with that class

I think Cal has done a good job with all the young guys...Before Cal no one would have ever thought you could compete with an all freshmen team.

Remember Coach K is having about the same success as Cal recently with similar young talent yet Coach K still had a upperclassmen stud in Grayson Allen.

It would be foolish to think he de-committed from UK to go anywhere but here with Penny imo.

#This

He and Wiseman want to play together...very well might be why why he decommitted.

The question is where would he go? Answer: WHERE ELSE would he go?

I'm willing to bet good money DJ and Wiseman end up here in Memphis to play for #TeamPenny in 20019

Damn, I reckon that means I won't be around to see them play.

Such a salty bunch, and the best part is just how much Memphis is getting under their skin! Calling us corrupt, declaring Penny a flop already, calling as a C-USA school, and accusing us of tampering is just icing on the cake. Oh, and would one of you fine posters who have an account over on that cesspool they call a forum correct the UK grad? It's a BRINKS truck, not a BRICKS truck.

I'm not sure which I'm enjoying, that we're in the mix for some top recruits or that they're having a full blown meltdown over Memphis.
