Obama Official Dissing Trump Trade Policy Interrupted by News That It's Working
Quote:Now, this is hilarious.
At the very moment that former Obama Treasury Secretary — and officially one of the most vexing aides to have served Obama, which is a high standard — Jack Lew was busy dismissing President Donald Trump's trade policies, the conversation was interrupted by a bulletin saying that Trump had gained concessions from the European Union.
“I'm in a little bit of a bad position to respond not knowing the full details,” Lew stammered.
Meanwhile, CNBC's Sara Eisen took him on.
“If this is true, this would be certainly a win for the administration, and it would show the world that these tough trade tactics are working — this idea of short-term pain for long-term gain,” she said. “It's certainly not the way you guys went about it.”

I agree..but..If Trump's threats lead to concessions that help our trade imbalance and lead to job creation as predicted?.... It would be a giant win for the him and the GOP. I would validate his claim that we have allowed our trading partners to run us over for many decades. It is too early to know at this point IMO. I do however see positives coming from this already.

It was hilarious to have the Dow graph right next to his head skyrocketing up while Lew was squirming trying to get the words "but muh details" out of his mouth.

When that asshat known in our circles as Oblunder sarcastically told Trump that he was president and not him and then dropped the mic, Trump should do that to the MSM when he told them about our GDP hitting 4.1%.

It's funny that those on the left dont believe anything President Trump says. Well unless they can spin it in a negative way. But it seems like the rest of the world, you know, those that now dont respect us......
takes him at his word and that he means what he says and not afraid to do exactly as he says
I call that f'ing respect and respect in a way those on the left never say the previous 8 years. If some how this doesn't seen like enough 2 years from now....
I expect you will see President trump making a call: WE need to take about taking those concessions a little farther.
