Hope administration is already at work trying to make a long term deal which will retain Norvell for years to come. He is killing it on the recruiting trail.

He just signed a five year extension

That was a start but he is still a flight risk when P5 comes a calling. We need to make him a godfather level contract. One which would make him think twice, three times and maybe even four time before he will consider another job.

We can never match P5 $ to $ but there has to be other incentives we can create to make it too attractive to walk away.

I wonder if we can set up a fund which fans can donate to, to assist in paying Norvell's salary. Sort of like the Scholarship fund, but, for Penny and Norvell's salary. We need to keep our HC's somehow.

Most likely he is okay. Sometimes when you been playing the game for so long your body just get's tired of the extremes of playing football. Being at home probably made it no better.

He did not play a down in 2019. He will stay on scholarship to finish his degree.

Was very bullish on Honeysucker's potential. He came in very highly rated and had the physique for D1A Football.

That being said, we know have a scholly to sign a grad transfer WR or another late qualifier. We lose a lot next year at WR, and we need another big playmaker for '20 and '21 seasons.

That could mean he had an injury and it does not appear it will heal. I had a similar situation with a friend who was a PARADE ALL AMERICAN at Lamar High School in Arlington, TX. He signed with TEXAS A&M and got injured during practice his freshman year. He never recovered from that injury and they kept him on scholarship for 4 years. He never played a down for the AGGIES.

I'm aware. He may have not played in games but he still practiced and was apart of the team so he still faced those extremes.

If he stays on scholly, then he didn't get run off or quit. Likely some injury issues.

This might be where the scholly came from to sign Jackson, the DT from LSU.
