Ive come to the conclusion that Aresco knows several networks will be bidding on the AAC---thats why he is so confident that a nice raise is coming. On the other hand---I think Thompson doesnt think there will be any significant bidders beyond ESPN for the MW---thus he has been forced into the position of portraying the Mountain West Digital Network as a legitimate option for the MW content. Effectively, he is trying to manufacture a competing bidder to try to drive up value.

This is not the facebook feed that I watched. I watched the the first half of the FB feed (delayed to yesterday afternoon when I had time to watch it, which was nice), and then I watched this on the YouTube app on my Roku last night about mid-night. But my point in pointing that out is, why did ESPN not just set up cameras to capture the main stage instead of interviewing each coach like they did? I mean... I guess I'm glad they did it that way? IDK. Were they worried about putting Aresco's speech out there unvarnished on their network?
I know the American Conference Web Page mentioned the event's two days were covered live by the American Digital Network. I don't know if anyone watched the event through this and could verify if the main stage was covered as you mention.

Well, if the American Digital Network is their Facebook Page, then yes, I watched it. One of the disadvantages of getting old is I don't fully understand all of this digital lingo. To me (50 years old), a "network" is something you watch on a TV with rabbit ears. And a "platform" is something off of which one dives, if one is not too scared to do so.

I'm right there with ya both in age and digital lingo acumen. I didn't know the ADN is viewed through Facebook. Then again, I'm one of the few that don't do Facebook.
