Just checked. After receiving much more back on each and every check, I am also on par to receive $300 back this year. Looks like about a $2500 per year savings.

You found an article that wisely suggests people make sure that the new withholding tables don't surprise them next spring because they weren't smart enough to educate themselves on the tax reform.
