I made a number of ocean crossings in the F-4, including four non-stop 11/12 hour flights between New Mexico and Germany, and it's physically tough being in the seat that long -- not able to stand up and stretch.

When I pulled off my helmet after landing the crew chief looked at me and said "Who the hell are your!"
