I don't agree with some of this nonsense; however, just call folks whatever the hell they want to be called and get on with it. There are things so much more important to get on with rather than this nonsense.

Gotta say I agree with the ultimate response. I couldn’t be bothered to give enough of a sh*t for this sort of stuff to affect me at all. Even in the most egregious example, say a big burly dude who wants to be called Mary and referred to as “her”, well then Mary it is. I can’t imagine something that affects less.

Your employer already can do that. If you worked with Lindsay Graham, and you refused to call him Lindsay, you wouldn’t keep your job very long.
