I hope you're right, but from what I've read on here I'd expect WKU to finish in the bottom half - and that's coming from their fans.

People who picked North Texas to repeat in the West are gonna look dumb at the end of the year. If they finish better than third in the West I'll be surprised.

It’ll be fun to see how the West shakes out. Like I’ve said, I wouldn’t really be too shocked by any of the possible outcomes of 1-5, I think they’re all pretty good teams.

Bingo. There are 5 good teams in the west this year, and 3 (LA Tech, UAB & USM) that have as good of a chance to win the west as UNT.

FAU will be alright at QB, perhaps even improved. The coaching changes - that does make me nervous a bit.

From what I am gathering, our offense is wide open and players are loving it. Doc, for the first time, is taking his hands off the offense thankfully. On defense, i believe we will have the best defensive unit in CUSA again. Good across the board on D this season. New coordinator, but the cupboard is full. Could be a really good season for us, especially if our new QB meets the hype

If we win more than 4 games this year I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

My guess is that FAU's upgrades in OC and QB won't likely be enough to overcome the losses on the offensive line. I expect a step back by FAU's offense thus season.

Yes, I expect us to participate in lower scoring games and rely even more on Singletary and trick plays. Almost everybody returning on defense would allow our offensive shortcomings to be masked a little bit.

UAB did get blown out against a MAC school in their bowl game, I had to turn it off it was so bad. Kinda like the the Sunbelt Troy -North Texas bowl game
