Ah yes, those photos clearly show those Presidents belittling their own intelligence agencies while attacking Americans and deferring to Putin about an attack he directed on our infrastructure. Theyre certainly not a disingenuous string of photos showing normal diplomatic relations implied to mean it’s the same.

Because that would either be intentionally dishonest or a really, really, really dumb thing to argue.

What “infrastructure” was that?

Curious

There is simply no reason to not get along on some level with Russia. We have no inherent beef with them.

XACLY!

Yup.

Alluded to this in other threads.

Especially the “people”. We would, could, and Do have more in common with their people than almost anyone other than the Brits, pols and possibly the frenchies, depending. Maybe a couple other Scandinavian joints, but not so sure there any longer.

They’re a yuge, spread out country, once and likely still, largely agrarian, settlers, rugged folks that have unfortunately been under the thumb of a brutal, Inhumane, counter to freedom of individual liberty system, for a hundred years now.

The “people” can and were great. When left to their own devices.

They were right there on the forefront more in 1870 than they were in 1970.

Why? Wellll. Per Lenin, let’s kill all the educated... it’ll be utopia, 50 million dead later.

Why NOT have good relations with Russia and esp their people? Plenty of their teens and 20’s come over here for summer work and school, they all seem to love and embrace this joint. No one trying to shoot up or bomb anyone last I checked. (Maybe you could stretch it to the svrniav (sp) dickheads if you’d like) but that’s about it.

We have FAAAAAR bigger threats out there than Russia, especially if we can work with them.
Just like we did 75 years ago.

XACLY! again....we need them more as an ally than a foe....

ref: Japan and China

this is all about keeping the USD relevant globally and working with existing land mass......

it's scary what could be accomplished with the USD in Russia....

I guess we’re just brushing off the whole “he led a concerted effort to attack our election infrastructure and directed illegal actions against Americans” thing? Or the whole “invaded Crimea, invaded Georgia, and shot down that jet” thing? Oh, and the whole “kills journalists and defectors” thing, too?

This place is crazy town bananapants.

Uhhhhh, no.

That was zerO that brushed that off.

Try and keep up

Buchanan is like a stopped clock on this one - right twice a day but wrong the rest of the time.

But do we have to kiss Putin's a** in the process. The USA owes a lot of debt to the Chinese and the Arabs, But what advantage does the USA have to keep Putin happy.

"The devil you know............." etc, etc. etc...

My thought exactly. Keep your enemies close. I do not trust Putin and I dont think Trump does either..for a second. There is however no real reason to antagonize him. He has a giant ego that can be exploited if worked carefully. Trump should know all about this.07-coffee3
