Man I thought he could be something.

Laye in the game, he made a great move on the baseline and then couldn't elevate.

His knees very well might not exist anymore...

Likely

He showed so much potential...His body may just not have allowed him to reach it.

It should not be necessary to remind Tiger fans that we would never have had been close in the final game or even advance far in the C-USA Tourney without Darius. He was also a key component to our 2006 Elite Eight team (2nd in scoring and 1st in assists).

Yep I was at all those games. Just surprised he didn’t play for alma mater team.

We had a pretty full roster of guys who are either local or stayed in Memphis after their careers. Wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't reached out to. Only so many you can add.

Yeah, we had non-alumni playing for us as well. When was Darius last in Memphis?

His last hurrah was not something he probably would want folks to bring up.

Witherspoon was forced to play out of position his entire stay here at Memphis. Calipari made him play point guard, Josh made him play center. No wonder he didn't acheive what he could have. Had he played the 3 for 4 years, he'd have probably gotten a shot at the NBA.
