RE: New Stadium TV article
Sling has several stadium feeds on their sports package, just throwing that out there. I used it last year, was pretty good. Using Hulu live TV now since it has cbs sports, but guess what, no stadium there lol figures, one has this but not that, the other has that but not this lol Youtube TV isn't available in my area at this moment.

RE: New Stadium TV article
When I had Sling, Stadium was always a black screen or it would be playing a talk show when there was a live game going on over on the OTA station.

However last year that changed with ASN merging to Stadium, there was zero games on Direct TV for Stadium. Stadium has channel on Firestick though through Pulto App, so you can still watch on TV but not Direct TV.

I wish we would consolidate all of this somehow, its a lot to keep up with even for us hardcore fans......Games on Facebook exclusive, some games on Twitter, some games just on Stadium, some games on Bein, games on ESPN3, games on ESPN+, games on CBSSN, games on Mars Live Tv, its a lot, CUSA needs to figure out a better way to streamline all of this just for the hardcore fans trying to keep up with it all. Sucks I still have to get Sports Package on Direct TV so I can watch the few games we have on Bein as well as basketball being on FCS. I asked HSSN if that would continue for WKU even though we have ESPN deal and they said as far as they knew men's basketball would remain on Fox College Sports...

Hopefully this season with a newer car I hope to attend 5 or 6 more basketball games this season as well as upgrade my season tickets and make the drive from Lexington much more to BG...

I did notice Stadium added more markets and now there is Stadium channel on DirecTv

Wait. When did DirecTV add Stadium?

Channel 47

I had to look it up and guess what was playing? A replay of Tech vs WKU 03-lmfao

Channel 47? that must just be local to you and your area, there is not a 47 for most Direct TV locations...
Channel 47 KTXD is the DFW local channel that switched to Stadium programming full-time just before the conference basketball tournament in March.

Tech-WKU football replay from last year is on as I am posting this.

That's awesome for your area. Is it in HD?

OK. So, I know we have already discussed this ad nauseum. But, for the Technologically Challenged (and for those of us like me whose eyes are glazing over) with regard to this Stadium stuff. How does a Direct TV subscriber in the Nashville market get Stadium/Cusa other than thru Facebook? Think that was how I gained access to the MBB games this last year.

If your TV is new enough and has a web-browser. Try going to watchstadium.com and see if it will play that way. If not...

You could get a Roku stick for your TV and add the Stadium channel to it.

Or you could download the Stadium app to your smart device and cast it to your smart TV (or get a Google Chromecast, put it in your TV's hdmi port, and cast it to that.)

Maybe cheapest way to get it on your TV is to buy a FireStick for about $35. Get Amazon Prime and download Pluto App. Pluto App includes Stadium Channel for free. Used it last season and had zero issues. Also if games on Facebook and not on Stadium you can watch those games too with your Firestick.

Yeah forget what I said. It would work too but Firestick is probably your best bet since it has Facebook Watch.

This. I've told many people the exact thing. Firestick is the way to go. Plus you have the ability to download off-site apps (apps not in the amazon store)...i.e. apps that you can get ESPN/FS1/CBSSports/BeIn/Stadium etc. you name it, for free. You just have to know how to do it.

Yes, plus if out of town, simply take the stick with you and use in your hotel, firesticks are the way to go.

I have DirecTv also and Stadium is now a local channel, should be the same way in Nashville

I know some of you really like this streaming service/sticks but DirecTv or Dish now have excellent deals. Especially since AT&T now owns DirecTV. I moved last year and I get 1000MB Fiber, all sports channel and HBO for $135. I have yet to see anything comparable to this in price.

Just like your local channel on Direct TV for your area, Direct TV doesn't have or offer internet in my area, may hold true for a lot of others too....But wow that internet is unreal fast, I just got MetroNet and I thought 36.3 mps and 42 mps upload was fast as hell....Hell spectrum I was getting speeds of 10.5 mps download and 6.53 upload....So I am slowly upgrading, but you have to remember Kentucky, Tenn and West Virginia have some of the slowest internet speeds in the country....MetroNet is fiber optics with Lexington first city in state they are offering internet services and they have advertised a lot better speeds then I am getting but might be because they are brand new in the state and still trying to figure out some stuff, but still beats Spectrum by a mile!

Most don't have DirecTV now either, I was not offered that with my packages....

You are right about Channel 58. It is Local in Nashville. We'll see if our local 58 actually carries the MT broadcasts that are not on SECNet or otherwise. If not, I thank our other colleagues for the advice on the Firestick alternative .

It is on Channel 58-2, with a digital antenna, in the Nashville area. Some great digital antennas on Amazon for good prices. Don't buy the cheap ones at Walmart.

Not sure why you think TN has slow internet? 1 gig speed internet is available in most places in the Nashville metro area. I have ATT's 1 gig speed internet myself. Chattanooga has had it for a decade. Hell, the guy with the fastest internet connection in the entire US lives in Chattanooga at 10 gigs per second.

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/artic...ted-states

I could see Kentucky and West Virginia having slow internet, because they have no major cities and are mostly rural, but that is not the case for Tennessee.
