The Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational will be November 22-23, 2018 at the Orleans Arena. Participating teams include Nevada, Southern Illinois, Tulsa, UMASS, Cal Baptist, Howard, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

From what I can tell, we won't be going to Vegas, but will get some extra games out of it. Apparently we are going to play at Nevada-Reno and get UAPB and Howard at home. I think we get one more road game, but can't find us on anyone else's schedule (many have not been released). Going to SIU would be an easy trip. I guess they could send us to Cal-Baptist in Riverside, CA, while we are out west, but that is still almost 500 miles from Reno.

Tulsa just released its schedule and lists us as a home game for them on November 19th as part of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational. We already knew we were playing at Nevada, so with this road game at Tulsa, and getting UAPB and Howard at home, that will be it for us in that tournament. You were right, we don't get to actually go to Vegas.

Tulsa just released its schedule and lists us as a home game for them on November 19th as part of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational. Well, the good thing is we get 4 extra games, 3 of which should be winnable. I've seen people talking about Nevada as a potential Top 15 team this year. If we can't beat Howard and UAPB, at home, it will likely be another very long season. Tulsa would obviously be a really nice road win, and suggest a vast improvement in our team. Odds are we go 2-2, but beating Tulsa is not out of the question.
