Can't argue with that but I do believe that ULM will show marked improvement on the DL (if they can stay healthy). Hussman will take a starting job. He got better as the year went on. He was a DE converted to DT and was only 275 as a redshirt Freshman. I imagine he will be closer to 290 this year. We should be faster at DE and bigger. Depth at DT is a worry so the JUCO we got better produce. He is small for a DT but extremely strong. If DT can at least plug up the line to release the DEs, we should be much better.

Joe Dillon is the guy talked about in this thread for Louisiana. But he's out for the year with a hip injury. Put the Cajuns in the ugly category for this particular position until they prove otherwise.

Hard to argue with TXST's placement as it's been really, really ugly on the DL the last 2-3 seasons. But we should have far more size and experience than we've had in years there going into 2018. Should have a decent two-deep finally, and our under-sized underclassmen that have played a lot the last couple seasons have experience under their belts and have put on a lot of weight.

Overlooked stAte's Ball St. transfer on the inside . . . Kevin Thurmon. A-State should once again have the best D-Line in the Sun Belt - plenty of depth and experience.

You didn't have it last year, and lost JVJ and Dee Liner... I think yours will be 3rd behind Troy and APP.

for stAte, everyone talked about Dee-Liner because he was a 4 star transfer from Bama, but he really didn't play all that great. He had a break out game against USF in the Cure Bowl, but that was about it. Bad injury early in his senior year really kept him in check. One of the best they had last year was a true freshman named Moreton who played more than Liner. I think stAte will be very strong on the front and very fast at LB and in the secondary.

They have ULM where they should be. We’ll be better but but till you proved it on the field it’s baed to argue this ranking. We lost one of young DTs who redshirted to grades. He was going to be good one . Don’t know if he’ll get it together and come back.

We picked up two undersized JUCO DL.
DT 5-11 275 high motor guy had 11 sacks, led his team in tackles and led the nation in tackles for loss with 29 at Cisco he’s the strongest dude on the team 500 pound bench guy. He small but has some power. If he was taller he wouldn’t be at ULM or the Sun belt. He did good in spring game and had sack.
6-2 225 DE had 9.5 sacks at Copiah Lincoln. High motor guy.

They’re doing some different things on DL with new coach and had some positive results in spring.
Look for DE Donald Louis to have a good year.
