Exclamation Initial Massey Composite
35. Troy
43. Appalachian State
69. Arkansas State
100. Georgia State
110. Louisiana-Monroe
111. Louisiana
113. South Alabama
119. Georgia Southern
122. Coastal Carolina
125. Texas State

Lots of space between the top three and everyone else to start. I expect this will change some during the season. The numbers in general will change as more rating systems are added before the season starts.

The Massey also shows just how close that the Belt is to cusa in regard to football rankings. If you take all of the teams from each league and average their pecking order, you come out with this:

Sun Belt average - 94.7
cusa average - 93.6

The averages are actually listed at the bottom of the massey composite.

The bottom 4 in the conference needs to get it together.

The bottom 4 is volatile. We're only a couple years removed from when Troy was one of the bottom 4 teams.

Base off last year nothing really to get mad about. No doubt this is based off history than projection though.

We might have been in and out during the 5 year slump but never hit 125 the lowest I remember us being was 100 teens I think. There was 1 year in the 5 year slump we became bowl eligible

LOL short memory 2011-2015 you were a .500 or below team. I am sure the bottom of the Belt has been a rotation since its inception. Also our only wins last year were from two teams ahead of us on this ranking. Not sure this one list is where the conference really is or to be making declarative statements on.
