I'm pretty sure my tax dollars shouldn't be funding Planned Parenthood. If my tax dollars are then they shouldn't be allowed to donate money to political parties. How would the left feel if our tax dollars went to the NRA and they make a donation to the GOP in the amount of millions?

In those two cases I "think" I see your point but why does the baby have to die for the crime of incest and rape? It's like blaming the baby for something beyond his/her control. THERE ARE adoption agencies all over our country, why can't they just leave them to one of them if the women feel like they can't bring up such a child? Who's to know what that child will grow up to be, they could be the one to cure cancer or some invention that will help humanity, you'll never know because you just killed the baby.

What I'm against is giving people who perhaps didn't take 20 minutes to decide to have unprotected sex, 20 weeks and all of the development that takes place during that time to decide what to do about the absolutely inevitable outcome of that decision.

You should know before you have sex what you will do if you get pregnant.... and if you use a condom and it breaks or whatever, you take the morning after pill. I've long favored having voluntary and free and completely discrete pregnancy tests in school bathrooms rather than (if it's an either/or) condoms.

What I don't understand is someone who understands that it's morally wrong and simply judges it based on its relative morality to other situations... who doesn't understand that as each day passes, it becomes increasingly immoral.

Ollie you have an excellent point. My thoughts were that the mother would have to reminded daily of what happened until the child was born. Honestly I don't think there's a perfect solution either way.

An artificial womb. A woman can terminate her pregnancy but the baby will continue to form in an artificial womb. She signs over the parental rights to the child and when it is born, it will be put up for adoption.

Too bad this isn't the 24th century though....

Life is precious, IMO it begins at conception. I am for abortion in the case of a mother’s life at risk, now doctors or should I say butchers are doing abortions at time of birth and 3rd trimester. One should look at how barbaric the abortion procedure is.

That's pretty much my stance as well. Abortion is not a form of birth control.

Probably the stance of many conservatives.

I would say its the stance of the overwhelming majority of conservatives.

The "back alley abortions" threat is akin to throwing grandma off the cliff. Not gonna happen and its intended to scare people by lying to them.

Even if Roe vs Wade was overthrown, nearly half the states would still allow abortion.

Because the only way to end a pregnancy is to kill the baby. People don't say they are growing a fetus, so they can have a baby. Liberals have worked the word "fetus" into our vocabulary, so the public will dehumanize the life of an aborted baby. We are missing 54,000,000 Americans.
