there doesn't seem to be much tiger news in the paper these days. I have moved to western N.C. & would like to keep up with the tigers. Any place else to go for info.your help would be appreciated. By the way, right after I moved here,someone tore my tiger license plate off the front of my car.

Not a lot of Tiger news because the “local” paper is run out of Nashville and so you get things like UT and the Predators and things that most Memphians care nothing about

Personally I like Bleacher Report. They carry national tigers news plus the CA stories.

I'd like to think it was a down-on-his-or-her-luck Tiger fan desperate for a way to show pride in their ride--and probably ashamed it took such measures.

Twitter is the best source especially for BB. Just search for Memphis Tigers and it will give you the names to follow. Also, former Tiger writers who are national writers now : DeCourcy and Wolken are good follows. With Penny generating publicity, I would follow all the National CBB writers.

FB is a different animal altogether and the local guys are still the ones to follow. Calkins has his new venture starting soon. National FB writers don’t give us much.

I second BR as well as 24/7. This is my last year as a Ca subscriber. I mainly subscribed for Calkins articles anyway

I was a 24/7 premium member for a couple months, but honestly Twitter and BR beat them to most/all stories. Heck, they beat themselves on Twitter many times before they post it on the paid site. It’s fun for rumors/gossip/innuendos but not competitive imo for the price vs amount of info received.

Today's CA sports section had a UT football article, a UT basketball but nothing Tiger related.

Bleacher Report is easier to sort. In Twitter, you follow those that break Tiger news. BR will link articles, tweets, etc for the teams you choose. Much more user friendly. Twitter is for raw breaking news from sources you trust/enjoy reading that are plugged in to whatever venue you choose

Who pays Gionnotto ? $20 a year ... Seriously !?!? 24/7 guys do a good job ... I enjoy their recruiting stuff ... And occasionally they break some news.
