Sun Belt key winnable OOC games
WINNABLE KEY GAMES FOR US TO PASS THE MAC AND CUSA. Outside chance to pull even with the MW and still a long ways to go to even sniff the AAC.

Conservative predictions of the OOC games that looked winnable.

GSU vs KSU only FCS game that looked scary others should all be heavy favorites. L
GSU vs Memphis L
ULM vs USM L
APP vs UNCC W
APP vs USM W
CCU vs UAB L
CCU vs UMASS L
GS vs UMASS W
GS vs NMSU W
GSU vs WMU W
Troy vs Liberty W
Troy vs Boise L
Troy vs Nebraska L
ARKST vs Tulsa W
ARKST vs UNLV W
UL vs NMSU W
USA vs LaTech L
USA vs Memphis L
TXST vs Rutgers L
TXST vs UTSA L

9-11 AGAIN conservative predictions so nobody get all in their feelings. Should not be huge underdogs in any of the above games. Troy and Nebraska will be closer I think than what the experts will predict. Any additional wins would be huge in conference rankings.

USA beats both LT and Memphis

Troy vs Boise 50/50, surprisingly low scoring, penalties swing the game

Think WMU is head back to where they were pre Fleck in a hurry. Super hopefull with USA beating both LT and Memphis though. LaTech has our number.

The one game that could be an eye opener is ULM at Southern Miss.

Historically a very tough place to play. If the Warhawks win there it'll be the biggest OOC win of the year.

For ULM beating TXAM would be a tad bigger lol. For the conference any P5 win would be bigger. If you talking about legitimately winnable Troy at Neb would be the biggest.

I like our chances at USM. Their starting QB won't practice until August and their top backup just transferred. They lost their RB and all their top receiving targets and took a hit on defense. If our defense can just be marginal then we should have a real good chance of winning that game.

Texas A&M will be an interesting match up. New coach. New system. Game is sandwiched between Clemson and Alabama. If that isn't a trap game, I don't know what is and I would sure love to take down Jimbo and the Aggies. Owe them one for 2014 when Berry snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

New coaching staff will have them competing sooner rather than later. USA’s main obstacle isn’t talent but inconsistency and sloppy play calling. Both are reflections of poor coaching. I say USA surprises a lot this year.

Don't see USA beating Memphis.

Memphis will be breaking in a new QB. It could happen.

I also watched you guys play Ark State and Troy. If you get the quarterback and running back position figured out I could see wins in both of those games.

I'm pretty sure we have a better chance of beating NMSU than UTSA.

That has been the summary of USA problems for the last few years. If we can beat tech and make a good showing vs Memphis I would be happy. I still think we will get off to a slow start but will improve throughout the season so we can have a better 2019 season.

In what world is AState beating any non FCS team in OOC play a "conservative" prediction?

Your assessment of USM is pretty accurate. We do have some good RBs and WRs, but we are replacing our top performers in those positions. We'll be fine at QB by the time we get to this game. Our D will be good against the run, but not so good against the pass.

I think we'll beat ULM and lose to AppSt.
